Summers by the lake at Andrew and Kevin's cottage property lack only one thing: a beach. It’s a situation that they plan to rectify immediately in their quest to host the Ultimate Beach Party. With a tiki bar, open fire spit, tropical cocktails and DIY hula-hoops – this is a beach party, Brojects-style.

We debated using a canoe for the roof of the Tiki bar, but ultimately went with an old futon frame. The tough part was figuring out the correct height of the roof and spreading it out enough to get the maximum amount of coverage. We also needed to figure out how to get the thatched roof look. Luckily, Kevin has friends in high places, so he was able to secure some actual dry palm fronds. The tricky part was attaching them to the roof.
