With Kevin's loud snoring nearly driving his brother Andrew to silence him for good, the boys decide that perhaps it's finally time to try out some alternative sleeping arrangements up at their lakeside cottage property. Project Steps

Step 5

To get going on the igloo, we first went off-road to find some thick snow. Using our made-in-Nova-Scotia Grohmann snow knife , we cut away some “freshies” – huge blocks that we transported back home. So then we just had to start stacking them up and wetting them to fill the gaps. Three-quarters of the way through, our lack of igloo experience begin to be painfully obvious as we realized that may have stacked the blocks a little too high, and without enough of an angle. We were going to have to find another way of building a roof. As an alternative, we decided to find boughs big enough to tie together like a teepee to finish it off.
