The Ultimate Kids’ Fort
Last year, Andrew and Kevin, together with their engineer pal Walker, set out to build a playground at their cottage property for the kids. But what they came up with was unsafe, unattractive, and ultimately unused. With pride on the line, they‘re determined to redeem themselves this time around -- or else face the scorn of their wives again -- by tackling the quintessential kids project: a tree fort.

Next, we brought over an old dock section to serve as the main floor of the fort. We used four 6-by-6 posts embedded deep into the ground, standing one post upright in each corner to make up the main supports of our fort. We then attached a second dock section to create the upper level, installing a big yellow twisty slide to one end, which will also act as the dragon’s tail.
