Ultimate Smokehouse
Inspiration has hit the boys on this project: what if they combine a smoke shack with a bourbon bar? The smoker is the perfect 'smoke screen' that will allow the bros to hit the bar while their wives think they are working hard on preparing food for dinner.
Step 9
We had an old cast iron wood stove sitting on the property that we repurposed as the firebox for our smokehouse. The smoke will travel from the firebox via a stovepipe, through the phone booth deflector, and into a cavity at the bottom of our smoking chamber. We added a snorkel-style chimney at the top of the smoking chamber for our exhaust, repurposing a dryer vent as our chimney cap.
