To start this build, we needed a tub. Our cottage is located near several commercial fisheries and we were able to acquire a used fiberglass rectangular tub, typically used used in large-scale fish farming or salt-curing operations. They’re a little deeper than we need so we used a grinder to cut off the top section to get it to a height that we can see out of when sitting in the tub. It’s important to use a full-face respirator when cutting fiberglass as the dust can be harmful if inhaled.
